John S. Crain is Managing Counsel at Seppinni Law.
He has played an important role in confidential settlements of ten to twenty-five million dollars on many occasions.
Previously, John was of Counsel at a prominent New York City civil rights and employment boutique
John graduated summa cum laude and second in his class from Brooklyn Law School, where he was honored seven times for scoring at the top of lectures and won the faculty award.
After graduating, John worked in the corporate department of a large New York City “Big Law” firm.
He then clerked for Judge Roslynn Mauskopf of the federal Eastern District of New York.
Since clerking, John has developed an expertise in guiding clients through the toughest litigation against the most aggressive opponents, including creating important and often-cited precedents.
He has also published twice about the history of American civil rights law.
In 2026, John returned to his alma mater Brooklyn Law School where he teaches a seminar on “Litigating an Employment Case.”
